- Top 20 Kids iPhone Apps It’s easy to love the App Store, but I do have one frustration – it lumps in kids learning apps with all educational apps, including those aimed at goals such as teaching Korean to businessmen and logic to prospective lawyers. - APP Review: Toddler Tapping Zoo My 2.5 year old is not a big iPhone kid – he would much rather play with toys or dismantle random things around the house. - APP REVIEW: Jumbo Book – Bo’s Rainbow The first thing that strikes you about Jumbo Book is the great design. Bo the elephant definitely lives in a world that is easy on the eyes. I just recently did my own independent study on top iPhone apps for kids. Independent study meaning I researched a bunch of kids apps, downloaded them and then tested them with my own children. Two of my top 5 made your list. You have to check out Ballonimals from Ideo Toy Lab, that was my top pick. To see my top five and review visit twomims.com
Totally agree that Balloonimals is a lot of fun. Still, I’ll admit I worry a bit about handing my phone to a little one where the whole point of the app is to blow on the phone and then shake it. But you’re right — my daughter does love it..just makes me nervous…. Thanks for sharing your list!

@ Sarah That’s one of my favorites too! My son loves Balloonimals but I think I play it more than he does
